DWI 3rd Offense

Like other areas of criminal law, Driving While Intoxicated Offenses are enhanced with subsequent arrests. An enhancement is a means by which the State of Texas can raise the classification level of punishment. A first time DWI is classified as a Class B Misdemeanor. A 2nd DWI is a Class A Misdemeanor. If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of having two prior DWI convictions and are now facing a DWI 3rd, you are now charged with a Third Degree Felony.

The stakes are higher. The possible punishment and consequences may be more severe. You are in need of a DWI Lawyer with the experience, knowledge and training in defending individuals charged with DWI Third Offense.

Mr. Madrid is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Criminal Law, he is trained in Field Sobriety Testing and a proud member of the National College for DUI Defense. A felony can result in prison time. With an experienced and tested DWI Lawyer prison time can be avoided and your case can possibly be dismissed.
