A 32 year old middle school teacher made a court appearance today in case in which he has been charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. The man teaches 6th and 7th graders Industrial Technology classes at Roberson Middle School in Spring Independent School District. The complaining witness is a 13 year old female student. It is alleged that the teacher sexually assaulted her in a classroom.
The teacher is out on bond. The judge ordered that he he may not have contact with any children under 17, except his 11-month-old son, and he must wear an electronic monitoring device. He also has a curfew from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and he may not go within 1,000 feet of a school. You can read more about the story here.
